From House of Kotwara to Anand Kabra, Gaurang to Shivan and Naresh, Day 3 of the LFW 2020 was all about the eyes. We saw the models wing it, smoke it, and even coral it, but overall, just slay it. Here is the list of what you need and how to don it for your favourite eye looks.
These are the trending eye makeup looks of the season
Gaurang’s show was all about this eye look. Myth buster! Smokey eyes are not just for a night out. When done right, this look can be worn anywhere, even to work. Have your eyes exuberate smokey style with just three products:
How It’s Done: Choose any of the darker shades from the eye shadow palette and sweep it from your lash line until the crease of your eye. Then, swipe a thin layer across the lower lash line. Next up, use the Kohl Ultimate to define your upper lid, and for extra drama, the inside of your lower lid. Finally, glide on the mascara for a classy finishing touch and voila…smokey eyes galore!
From Ritu Kumar’s showstopper, Aditi, to Anand Kalra, makeup artists left no stone unturned in the winging domain. LFW makeup artist, Daniel Bauer describes the wing effect as a way to “truly bring out feminine beauty in a bold manner”. If you like what you see, we’ve got you covered.
How It’s Done: Prep your eyes with some primer for the makeup to stay in place, then use the eyeliner along the upper lash line. Once you measure how far out you would like the wing to go, draw a thin diagonal line to act as the wing. Next, make a straight line from the tip to the middle of your eye lid and start filling in. Add some volume in with the mascara and ready, set, go!
House of Kotwara showcased appeasing corals with mesmerizing appeal. Coral eyes have come back and are grabbing attention, owing to its understated finesse. It’s definitely the unofficial makeup colour of the year. We’ve got just the shade you need for this look to carry it by day or night.
How It’s Done: Start off with some primer to ensure your makeup doesn’t slip away. Next glide the coral shade of your choice along your upper eyelid and lower lash line. Finally, swipe up the mascara and shine away!
