The Hack

A ‘#’ hashtag symbol on your eyelid

The Tutorial

Step 1:

Lakmé Absolute White Intense Liquid Concealer and blend it out using your ring finger and light dabbing motions.

Step 2:

Using the Lakmé 9to5 Naturale Finishing Powder and a fluffy brush, lightly dust some powder on top of your eyelids to set the concealer. This will keep your eyelids matte and increase the longevity of the eye makeup. You can even use a light-coloured eyeshadow from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Gold for this step.

Step 3:

Using the Kareena Kapoor Khan By Lakmé Absolute Eye Definer pencil, draw a ‘#’ in the outer corners of your eyelids. Remember, the hashtag symbol should not extend beyond the crease.

Step 4:

Use the smudger tool attached to the eyeliner pencil or a blending brush to blend out the hashtag. Be sure to blend it into your crease and towards the center of your eyelid (in a > shape). You can repeat Step 3 until you have achieved the desired colour intensity. Next, use a darker eyeshadow on the outer corner and a shimmer eyeshadow in the inner corner to intensify the look. Finally, apply some eyeliner along the outer edge of your lower lash line, blend it out using the smudger tool, and connect it to the eyeshadow on the upper lid.

Step 5:

To complete the look, line your upper lash line and lower waterline using the same eyeliner pencil. Then, add a few coats of the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Dramatic Eyes Mascara in Night Drama and you’re done!
